#Choose the cut first
The cut decides how a tee sits on your body.

#Choose a heavy fabric

#Read the size chart, not the label
A brand's 3XL can fit like another brand's XL. Use the numbers.
- Lay a tee that fits you well on a flat surface.
- Measure the chest from armpit to armpit, and double it.
- Measure the length from the shoulder to the hem.
- Pick the size in the brand's chart with the closest numbers.
- Make sure that the chest of the new tee is at least 4 inches larger than your own chest, for a relaxed fit.

#Styling tips
- Wear a tee with straight or wide-leg pants. Very tight pants under a loose tee make the top look heavier.
- Use a front tuck to show your waist. Tuck only the front of the tee into your waistband.
- Choose one colour for the whole outfit, or dark colours on the bottom, for a long, clean line.
- A vertical layer, such as an open shirt, adds a long line down the front.
- Choose prints in the middle of the chest. A large print across a wide area looks balanced.
