Oversized T-Shirt Combo Packs: How to Buy a Good One

Combo packs are a growing search in India. "Oversized t shirt combo" is 8 times higher than in 2022, and "oversized t shirt under 500" appeared as a new search this year. A combo pack is two or more tees sold together at a lower price per tee. It is a good deal only if the tees last. This guide shows you how to tell.

#When a combo pack makes sense

A combo pack makes sense when you need basics. Plain tees in black, white and grey are the base of most streetwear outfits. You wear them often, so a lower price per tee adds up.

A combo pack makes less sense for graphic tees. A graphic tee is about one design that you like. A pack forces you to take designs that you did not choose.

#Work out the real price

Divide the pack price by the number of tees. Then compare this price with the price of a single tee of the same quality.

For example, take a pack of three tees at ₹999. Each tee costs ₹333. If a better single tee costs ₹600 and lasts three times as long, the single tee is the better deal. The combo is only cheaper if the tees survive as many washes.

Cost per wear is a useful way to compare. Divide the price by the number of times you wear the tee. A tee that keeps its shape for 100 wears costs less per wear than a cheap tee that shrinks after five.

#7 checks before you buy a combo

3. Same quality for every tee. Check that the GSM and fabric apply to all tees in the pack, not only the first one.

5. Real photos. Look for close-up photos of the fabric, collar and stitching. Customer photos are the most honest.
6. Reviews. Read reviews that mention washing. Look for words such as "shrank", "faded" or "collar".
7. Return policy. Check whether you can return one tee from the pack or must return the full pack.

#Make the pack last
