#Set-in sleeve
A set-in sleeve is the most common sleeve. The sleeve is a separate piece of fabric. A round seam joins it to the body at the edge of your shoulder. This seam follows the shape of your body, so the tee looks neat.

"Drop shoulder" is a design detail, not a size. A drop shoulder tee in your normal size already looks loose. If you size up, the seam drops too far.
#Raglan sleeve
A raglan sleeve has no seam on top of the shoulder. The sleeve runs in one piece up to the collar. Two diagonal seams run from the underarm to the neck, one at the front and one at the back.
The raglan sleeve is named after Lord Raglan, a British army officer. He lost his right arm at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. A coat with this sleeve style later took his name. The cut gives more room for the arm to move.
